The Catalina 30 is one of the most popular sailboats ever built, and for good reason. It offers the value of a small-to-mid-size sailboat with the interior space and comfort of a much larger boat, while remaining easy to sail and fun to handle. This is a clean, stock Catalina 30 with a **3-cylinder Universal diesel**, deck canvas, wind, depth, speed, and other sailing instruments. The boat features **self-tailing winches** and had **new standing rigging installed in 2017**. A proven, practical cruiser with a comfortable interior, straightforward handling, and plenty of capability for day sailing or coastal cruising.

Better-Than-Average Cosmetic Condition

This Catalina is in better-than-average cosmetic condition and has been well protected with canvas deck and companionway covers, helping preserve the high-gloss varnished teak and deck equipment.

Catalina offered two interior layouts: the traditional layout and the U-shaped dinette model. This boat features the U-shaped dinette, providing additional seating and making it easier to convert the dinette into a comfortable berth. She can sleep up to seven.

The interior is clean and inviting, with navy-blue fabric cushions. The well-equipped galley includes a newer propane stove and oven, double stainless-steel sinks, and a large icebox with cold-plate refrigeration.

Accommodations include:

  1. Forward double V-berth
  2. Double aft berth
  3. Convertible settee
  4. Convertible U-shaped dinette
  5. Private head compartment with marine toilet and shower

Additional features include a stand-up chart table with electrical panel with breakers and a stereo system with speakers in both the cabin and cockpit.
